19 ::: Realistic Portrait Tutorial Series
I am FINALY DONE with my "Realistic Portrait" series over at Blender Cookie! This series covers everything: Modeling, Sculpting, Texture-Painting, Clothing, SSS shading, Particle Hair grooming and styling, and Compositing. I'm honored by the positive feedback it's received from the community - It's made all the effort worth it! Thanks to everyone who's watched it.

I think I'll refrain from creating human heads for the foreseeable future =)
18 ::: 3D World #159
It's a huge honor to appear in the portfolio section of the newest 3D World issue! This old geezer's face has received more attention than I ever hoped:'s "Render of the Week",'s "Forum Gallery", a Blender Nation post, and now this.

The response has been incredibly encouraging, humbling, and much appreciated.
17 ::: Chuck E. Cheese
Chuck E. Cheese was recently redesigned after being stuck in the 80's for decades. Despite the substantial negative feedback to the new design, I'm proud of the work done by Reel FX! I modeled this guy in Blender 2.6.

I personally don't have any fond memories of the former Chuck, and think the new one is at least a step up. What do you think of the redesign?
16 ::: Minion Mayhem
The new "Dispicable Me" inspired 3d-motion ride at Universal Studios had its grand opening on July 2nd! I had the privilege of working on this with the rest of the RFX crew.

The Orlando Informer: "Have you always wanted to know what it was like to be a minion (or, as Universal says, one in a minion)? At Universal Studios Florida’s newest attraction, you will get a chance to do just that, as you join Gru and the girls in this family-friendly 3D simulator ride featuring an all-new storyline, new animation, and plenty of minion shenanigans."
15 ::: Graphic Tees
A little graphic design never hurt anybody! A friend asked me to design a couple t-shirts for her summer church camps and these were my best attempts. I'm certainly not a skilled designer but she was happy with them and it was fun doing something different!
