ENORMOUS thanks to all the Blender Developers! You consistently supply the cg industry with one of the best fully-featured packages. It's a tremendous honor to appear on the splash screen for 2.6!

I've had this model sitting around since college and wanted to dabble with some studio lighting render setups. All the modeling was done in Maya and rendering done in Blender. The model and textures can be downloaded from my personal downloads on the Resource page!

Blender is keeping me rolling! This piece is based on Greg Baldwin's delicious concept and was an exercise in stylization. I need some variety in the ol' gallery =) [Everything done in Blender 2.5]
1 ::: Mr. Neeson

It's been too long since I've posted a personal piece! I'm a bona fide blender convert now and decided for my latest image to push the app as hard as I could (while still learning most of its features). And with "Taken" looping on FX so much these last few weeks, who better to portray than Liam Neeson? The image was created entirely in blender (aside from a little PS use for textures); modeling, sculpting, texture painting, hair, rendering, and compositing. Without having to jump to zbrush or mudbox to sculpt, I could simply render the highest resolution of my sculpted model - such a nice alternative to baking maps! Of course it's not a photo but I couldn't be happier with the app's capabilities. Check out the BlenderArtists.org Thread (link below).
